Installation is made by loosening the U bolts holding the leaf spring to the axle, installing the alignment plate betweenthe axle and leaf spring and retightening the U bolts. This filter fit perfectly! I have a 2023 Civic Touring with about 25,000 miles. I bought it new with 2 years of service, and when I went to the dealer for my last free oil change they wanted to charge me $135 to replace my engine air filter and my cabin air filter. Ouch!
