Bakelite Sandwich ContainerGerman Bakelite bread sandwich container. The Bakelite ones are very hard to find. This one is in good condition with light wear including a few small scuffs. I did not see any cracks or other serious damage. These were an important part of everyday life for Germans, so it is no wonder they found their way to the front lines as well. These were also produced after the war virtually unchanged making it basically impossible to say whether this is war

Nicely made. The wood has a lovely finish and rich color. The compartments have a softer bottom so you don’t have to worry about scratching your glasses or other surfaces. Great assortment of compartment sizes to help organize your items.
